About the team

Combat Air Mission Systems Engineering:

The team provide their customers with advice, support, tools and products in order to improve the operational effectiveness of platforms and systems by enhancing the sensor to effect chain. This involves being expert in the gathering, processing, assimilation and fusion of data and the exploitation of the resultant information; getting the right information, to the right person or system, at the right time.

What will I be doing?

• Identifying process inefficiencies and finding the ideal solution using the latest modelling and development techniques to produce tools and products that improve operational capability. The techniques include rapidly evolving machine learning and neural networking capabilities and constantly challenging your team to develop novel algorithms using accessible coding methods.

Academic requirements:

You will need to have attained or be predicted a minimum of a 2.2 degree with a key focus on any of the disciplines listed below:

• Mathematics
• Physics
• Aeronautical

Additional requirements:

• Leadership or management experience (can include positions held in sports teams / hobbies or academic projects)
• Good computer coding skills (Matlab &/or Python)
• An understanding of systems engineering is beneficial
