Take responsibility for the entire test architecture of cutting-edge weapons systems as a Missile Test Architect for this established military systems manufacturer.

You will be well-rewarded at this well-known defence company that produces military weapons systems with bonuses, annual salary reviews and paid overtime and so forth.

As a Missile Test Architect, you will be responsible for determining all the test and testability aspects of the missile to ensure compliance with various standards.

Your responsibilities:

• Analysing and modelling internal systems to understand the test coverage and generate diagnostic instructions including considering cost vs. test coverage trade-offs.
• Managing compliance to the lower-level test requirements including test access needs, BIT coverage/timings and factory test functionality.
• Working closely with the manufacturing and design teams to ensure the final product is fully testable and to understand/minimise the gaps in test coverage.

You will ideally have:

• A degree or equivalent experience with focus on test, electrical or electronic engineering including testing various components.
• Experience of managing engineering team and/or managing budgets and projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Expertise in at least one of the following areas:

• Digital electronics and microprocessor system,
• Analogue electronics,
• Electronics testing,
• Test equipment design.

• Role: Missile Test Architect
• WFP: Stevenage - Hybrid: 2-3 days a week on-site
• Salary: \xc2\xa345,000-\xc2\xa355,000 plus a bonus and notable benefits
• Eligibility: British and Dual Nationals due to security reasons

You will be successful in this role if you are curious, innovative and keen to progress further in a role that involves managing the process of high-end TE development from delivery into service.
