My client, based in Leicester, are seeking an experienced Midweight 3D Concept Designer to bolster their creative studio team. It\xe2\x80\x99s an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically proficient individual to work with globally recognised health and beauty brands, to generate creative concept ideas through sketching, CAD modelling and visualisation.

The ideal person for this role will be highly motivated and passionate about design/branding and marketing \xe2\x80\x93 having gained experience to midweight level within 3D design after graduating or completing higher education in a relevant field. The Role

- Taking design briefs from the senior design team, Account Managers and directly from clients.
- Conducting research, relevant to the brief, considering the brand, customer, marketplace and competitor landscape.
- Generating creative concept design ideas through sketching, CAD modelling & visualisation.
- Attending internal design review meetings to present, discuss, and take feedback on your designs.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure designs can be achieved as closely to the conceived designs as possible.
- Presenting your research and concepts to clients in external meetings and pitch presentations.
- Providing support and mentorship to more junior team members

The Candidate

- Absolute passion for design, both in and out of work.
- A sound understanding of marketing and brand communications.
- Ability to identify new trends and innovation from a broad range of stimulus and resources.
- The ability to conduct research & gather insights that consider psychology and customer behaviours.
- A passion for delivering retail experiences that consider the brand, customer, marketplace and competitor landscape.
- Ability to apply design thinking in order to arrive at meaningful, relevant solutions through a process of creative exploration.
- An understanding of the role that sustainable design plays in retail.
- Confident and able to present your concepts to a wider audience and engage them in your story.
- The ability to be client-facing and build strategic customer relationships.
- A good listener, able to take direction and understand the point of view of others.
- An ability to communicate ideas through freehand sketching and rendering ability is important.
- Proficiency in 3DS Max/V-Ray and Adobe CC is essential; SketchUp experience would be a bonus but not essential.
- A sound understanding of the materials, processes and construction methods required to execute and deliver your proposed designs.
- The ability to collaborate, and work as part of a highly motivated, passionate team of concept designers.

- Hardworking, with a strong work ethic; willing to deal with new challenges.
- A real desire to share knowledge and foster development in less senior team members.
- Proactive, adaptable & flexible to meet the demands of our industry.

Salary and Benefits
This position offers the chance for development and progression alongside a generous base salary of up to \xc2\xa338,000 based on experience.
Plus 25 days holidays plus Bank Holidays, company pension, cycle to work scheme, and more.
