As a Midweight Motion Designer, you will report to one of our Senior Designers and be responsible for the creation of all animated content from the studio. Working alongside senior members of the team, you will get to bring every element of a brand to life--from the definition of motion principles to compelling marketing campaigns, right down to simple animated social assets, explainer videos and web banners.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day you'll be a hands-on member of the team, delivering work to the highest standard for our clients Be the go-to for everything motion in the agency Work with our Creative Director, and Senior Designers to bring our clients' brands and campaigns to life Generate concepts, create storyboards and support your ideas with considered references Supporting other members of the design team with non-motion design Present your work to internal and external stakeholders Have courage in your convictions and be accountable Be proactive and see every project as an opportunity Be constantly curious
Your skills and experience We're looking for an all-round motion designer, someone who is as comfortable animating characters as they are transitions. Using After Effects and expressions are like a second language to you--if you know your way around Cinema 4D, Blender and Premiere, even better. You will have a solid approach to developing your ideas, from initial concept, to storyboarding and animatics, through to final production and you will understand the important role sound plays in your work. As well as the above, we're looking for the following skills:

Essential

3-5 years experience (ideally) in an agency environment. Proactive, curious and accountable Excellent communication skills and experience in pitching your ideas to internal and external stakeholders Demonstrable experience in producing animations from concept through to final delivery and across a variety of touchpoints Excellent time management, attention to detail and organisational skills
Desirable

Knowledge of graphic design principles such as typography, grids, colour semiotics Experience working across the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as Figma
