About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Methods Advisor to join the QMUL arm of the NIHR Research Support Service led by Imperial College London, in collaboration with QMUL, UCL and King\'s College London. You will be based in the Methodology Research Unit, which hosts the NIHR Research Support Service. There will be opportunities to link with staff across the collaborating sites.

The Wolfson Institute of Population Health harnesses expertise across a wide range of population-based research and education activities and aims to be an internationally recognized Centre of excellence in population health and preventive medicine.
The Centre for Evaluation and Methods (CEM) is a new and thriving research Centre that incorporates four collaborative units who work closely together to deliver outstanding research based on their combined and complementary research strengths.
About You
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate and/or PhD in a relevant subject or equivalent professional experience; experience of working in health or social care research; experience in writing research funding proposals and applying for grants; and have knowledge of UK funding landscape for health and social care research. You will be an enthusiastic communicator of the value of sound research methods in health and social care.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is a full time/part time (minimum 7 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 5 years. The starting salary will be in the range of \xc2\xa342,405 - \xc2\xa349,785 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
