Metering Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for whole current Metering Engineers within the Central Belt of Scotland to help with servicing our mains isolation switch installations for local authorities and social housing organisations.
The successful applicants will have relevant experience working as part of a team and have knowledge of various metering wiring systems. The operative must have relevant DNO authorisations or equivalent EUSR card. They should have relevant experience working with metering equipment and mains isolation switches, ideally with single and three phase experience but this is not essential. A background in smart metering or DNO infrastructure installations would also be advantageous. Applicants should have a driving licence as this is a mobile post. We have an ongoing training regime with the view to enhance all operatives' skill sets to further their suitability for the role.
In return for this, we will offer an hourly rate of 22 per hour (45,760 pa) once a probationary period has been completed. There are 25 days holiday on offer. The package also includes a workplace pension and all plant and equipment supplied that is necessary for the task.
