We are hiring METER READERS in your postcode now!

Permanent Full-Time - Working close to home.

• \xc2\xa311.53 - 12.00 per hour basic pay.
• Weekly Hours 40, 42 or 45 hours a week, with flexible start / finish times between 8am - 8pm.
• \xc2\xa325,000 to \xc2\xa328,000 a year average earnings with additional bonuses on average \xc2\xa3250 -300 monthly.
• Hours of work mostly will be Monday - Friday 8am -8pm. (occasionally Saturday few hours)
• Weekly payment.
• Mileage allowance paid 34 pence per mile.
• Overtime rates (\xc2\xa314 - \xc2\xa320)
• Business expenses reimbursed.

• No previous experience required.

Become a Data Retrieval, Meter Reader:

• No previous experience required.
• Full training provided.
• Progression and promotion opportunities for higher earning.

What you need:

• Full UK Driving Licence (Maximum 6 points)
• Own vehicle (Company car based on availability)

• Be able to obtain business use for your insurance policy
• Physically fit: expect to walk up to 4 -7 miles per day, climbing stairs and crouching, bending in tight spaces.
• Happy to work in all weather conditions.
• Clear DBS check (no unspent criminal convictions)
• Credit Report check (no county court judgements for the last 5 years)
• Previous Customer Service experience (preferred not essential).

Duties:

• Retrieving data from domestic Gas and Electric Meters full training will be given.
• Charge Point Surveys.
• Adhering to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.

Training:

• Full training is provided, so experience is not necessary, although would be a benefit. Training is 1 week and will be both classroom-based and field-based with an experienced meter reader, so you get to see the job through a professional\'s eyes.
