Job Title: Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim Repair Technician
Reports To: Bodyshop Supervisor
Position Overview:
The Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim Technician is responsible for carefully disassembling and reassembling damaged vehicles, ensuring all work aligns with repair estimates and company procedures. You will maintain all safety equipment and materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and suitable for use. Any inconsistencies or issues with estimates or procedures should be promptly communicated to the estimator.
Qualified Technicians: You will primarily perform your core duties independently, with the added responsibility of supervising less experienced technicians when necessary.
Assistants/Non-Qualified Technicians: Your tasks will generally be carried out under the guidance of a qualified technician.
Key Responsibilities:
Dismantle and reassemble vehicles accurately and professionally, conducting quality inspections in accordance with established standards, and overseeing non-qualified staff when needed.
Complete all assigned tasks within the scheduled timeframes.
Notify the Bodyshop Team Leader of any additional repairs required during vehicle servicing.
Order necessary parts based on repair estimates to avoid delays, and return any unused parts to the parts department for credit.
Adhere to all housekeeping, health, and safety regulations relevant to your role and workspace.
Technical Training:
You will receive specific training after successfully joining the team.
Additional Duties:
Due to the size and complexity of our facility, you may be asked to undertake additional reasonable tasks or responsibilities within your skill set as directed by senior management.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary package up to 52,000 OTE, including site bonuses, depending on your experience and qualifications. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, and ATA certification is preferred. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
