Job Description

In response to continued growth and to further strengthen RSK as an evolving business we are looking to recruit a Mergers and Acquisition Associate to join the team on a full-time basis working 40 hours a week, which can be home based.

The RSK Group is an acquisitive business and this role will play a key part in delivering that strategy. The role will focus primarily on smaller transactions, this will offers the successful candidate the opportunity to understand the deal from the \xe2\x80\x98ground up\xe2\x80\x99.

There will be some travel involved (UK and international) and progression opportunities exist.

Key Responsibilities:

• The role will involve leading on the financial diligence workstream and managing the other workstreams (e.g. legal, HR, SHEQ, IT, Insurance and Carbon and Sustainability).
• Reviewing and commenting on Information Memorandums
• Analysing financial data and creating financial models for decision support and diligence
• Working closely with the M&A team and Divisional Directors on project management
• Keeping acquisitions on track, chasing actions as required
• Working with internal advisors to manage Due Diligence

Person Specification:

• A recognised professional accounting qualification e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA
• Proficiency in Financial Modelling techniques
• Strong fluency with Excel
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills
• Experience of analysing unlisted businesses
• Experience of M&A, Corporate Finance or audit (preferred)
• Experience of working in fast moving environments providing accurate and timely information to a high standard

Salary and Benefits:
