We are looking for an experienced or trainee Memorial Mason to join our team. Must have a full U.K.. driving licence to apply.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stone masonry, including the ability to sandblast, fix headstones, and perform other essential tasks in memorial work. A valid driving license is required as part of the role will involve traveling to job sites. Additionally, a fixing license is preferred but not mandatory.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for craftsmanship and a strong attention to detail. You will be responsible for the design, creation, installation, and maintenance of memorial stones and monuments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sandblast memorials and gravestones to create personalized designs

- Fix and install headstones and memorial stones at cemeteries and other locations

- Measure, cut, and shape stone materials, including granite, marble, and sandstone

- Prepare memorial stones for installation, ensuring they are clean and properly finished

- Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail

- Travel to different locations for installations, requiring a valid driver's license

- Liaise with customers to confirm designs, dates, and specifications

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- If holding a fixing license, perform relevant duties in compliance with industry regulations

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Memorial Mason, with experience in sandblasting and fixing headstones

- Valid driver's license (required for travel to job sites)

- A fixing license (preferred, but not essential)

- Ability to operate sandblasting equipment safely and effectively

- Strong attention to detail and an eye for design

- Ability to work with hand tools, machinery, and other equipment

- Ability to lift and handle heavy materials and stones

- Good communication skills and customer service experience

- A strong work ethic, self-motivated, and a team player
