Job Summary


We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Medical Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our medical products to healthcare professionals, ensuring that they are well-informed about the benefits and features of our offerings. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for customer service. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with clients while driving sales growth in the medical sector.

As an established Company in this market, Scotmed have been providing Surgical Instruments and Medical related products to the NHS for the past 30 years.

We sell directly within the Scottish NHS and North of England. We also have a Distributor Network covering other areas of the UK.

Duties



Following appropriate training -

Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and hospital staff. Due to the nature of our products many require personal uplift and delivery giving an excellent opportunity to meet your customers directly. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate clients on the benefits of our medical products. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure sales agreements. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and inventory management using Microsoft Word and Office applications. Attend industry conferences and events to network and promote our products.

Requirements



Proven experience in medical sales or a related field is preferred but not essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide others. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Office applications. Ability to analyse data and market trends effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships and maintaining existing customer base. Negotiation skills that lead to successful sales outcomes. It is essential that the applicant has a full UK driving license and access to their own vehicle. Business Mileage and Expenses will be paid.
