We are looking for a part-time receptionist to join our small, friendly team.
The position will include a variety of administrative duties, clinical system administration, welcoming patients at the reception, dealing with online and telephone enquiries. etc.
This would suit someone who thrives in a busy environment, and who has experience in working with with a small team. Experience of high volume of call handling essential, and a knowledge of SystmOne clinical software would be a definite advantage

Booking appointments
Processing referrals
Processing repeat prescriptions requests
General IT administration
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of receptionist and administrative duties. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
Processing incoming and outgoing mail
File and store records as required
Photocopy documentation as required
Process calling letters as requested
Data entry of new and temporary registrations and relevant patient information
Scanning of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients healthcare records
Process referrals to external agencies such as secondary care
Input data into the patients healthcare records as necessary
Action GP2GP tasks
Process referrals using the electronic referral system (ERS)
Process requests for information i.e. SAR, insurance / solicitors letters and DVLA forms
Process incoming e-test results, ensuring they are referred to the relevant clinician
Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately
Manage all administrative queries as necessary
Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times
Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested
Support reception staff, providing cover during staff absence
Book appointments
Management of repeat prescriptions, ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently
Complete opening and closing procedures in accordance with the duty rota
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.25 per hour
