Band 3 Medical Laboratory Assistant
Craigavon

3 Months initially
The Client: Local Public body based in Craigavon, serving local residents.
Hours of work: Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm
JOB SUMMARY
Working to standard operating procedures the MLA will assist Biomedical Scientists by carrying out a variety of routine tasks. MLA duties will be supervised. The MLA will assist with all phases of specimen progress through the appropriate department including the pre and post-analytical phases. The Pathology & Laboratory Service operates at both Craigavon and Daisy Hill sites on a 24/7 basis and shift patterns will reflect this.
Requirements:
- 5 GCSE\'s at Grades A-C or equivalent/higher qualifications including a science subject
- 1 year relevant experience in a laboratory setting
- Experience of using computer systems.
- Rates of pay \xc2\xa311.11 per hour
- Holiday entitlement
