Mechanical Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
We're a family-owned firm based in South West London and Surrey, specialising in mechanical solutions, design-and-build, and maintenance across London and the UK. Due to rapid growth and new contracts, we need a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to handle project costs, procurement, and finances.
You'll be based at our South West London office, with occasional site visits across London.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse costs for materials, labour, and equipment. Create and manage project budgets. Source materials and subcontractor services. Negotiate contracts and oversee agreements. Keep accurate cost records. Prepare financial reports and forecasts. Spot risks and plan contingencies. Work with project teams and stakeholders. Sort out cost issues efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills:
Degree in Quantity Surveying and/or Mechanical Engineering. Experience in construction quantity surveying. Strong with numbers and negotiation. Skilled in quantity surveying software and MS Office. Great communicator.
