Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to work in Aylesbury for \xc2\xa330 per hour on a contract basis. The hirer is a leading rolling stock systems and service provider and is looking to expand their field service capability across the UK. Following further company growth including a 24.3% boost to their order book.
Location: The job is based north west of London, near the town centre of Aylesbury.
Rate: \xc2\xa322.69 (PAYE) / \xc2\xa330.00 (Umbrella) per hour
The Mechanical Fitter job duties will include:
- Mechanical component sub assembly and removal.
- Use of calibrated air & power tools on the train underframe.
- Refit and installation of new wheel slip protection components to the braking systems.
- Reading and interpreting schematics and FMI\'s.
- Opportunity to communicate with hirers and depot teams to share information and learn / improve knowledge of various train sub systems and modifications.
