We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Fitter and Assembly Engineer to join our client\'s dynamic team on-site. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced offshore equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical machines and assemblies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the management and operation of new builds, as well as the maintenance and servicing of the product pool as required.
Our client specializes in high-level marine engineering practices, including Coded fabrication of assemblies, Multi-axis CNC machining, Hydraulic systems, Electrical electronic embedded and PC control software, Instrumentation and automation, and Product assembly, test, maintenance, servicing, and end-of-life recycling. They are dedicated to supplying cutting-edge solutions to global customers from their state-of-the-art facility.
Working Hours and Compensation:
Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00.
Hourly pay rate: \xc2\xa313.00 to \xc2\xa317.00 per hour (\xc2\xa325,000 to \xc2\xa333,000 per annum equivalent).
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical fitting and assembly tasks on high-level marine engineering products.
Manage and operate new builds to ensure quality and efficiency.
Conduct maintenance and servicing activities on equipment and assemblies.
Collaborate with a talented team to ensure products meet strict quality standards.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter and Assembly Engineer or similar role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills in assembly and fitting.
Proficiency in working with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of coded fabrication, CNC machining, and instrumentation is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with product assembly, testing, and end-of-life recycling processes.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Flexibility to start at short notice.
