About the Opportunity
Due to our expanding portfolio and long-term local framework expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our Midlands multi-disciplinary buildings team in Birmingham. We are looking for a person who is looking to further develop their experience and responsibilities within the Building Services sector within our Birmingham Office.
As part of our multi-disciplinary design consultancy in Birmingham our Building Services team are involved in a variety of planned and reactive maintenance, refurbishment and new build projects including several multi-million-pound development schemes and framework agreements within the construction industry.
The core projects at present mainly involve working with a long term local framework partner within the west midlands consisting of a variety of projects including multi-residential high, medium and low rise infrastructure replacement projects, district heating upgrades and feasibilities and District heating energy centre replacement designs. Outside of this core requirement we have projects including education based projects including new build schools and student accommodation both design and technical adviser roles, supporting our Aviation, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defence, Highways, Water, Gas and Rail teams throughout the UK and internationally on various schemes.
The post involves developing the designs of Mechanical Building Services projects, supporting the senior engineer on each project, reporting to the associate engineer, helping to develop early career team members, and supporting the project team. Here\xe2\x80\x99s What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:
