A leading developer of special purpose machinery that assists in the manufacture of RFID products is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a variety of projects alongside their R&D Team.
This Mechanical Design Engineer job will be working for a well renowned growing global leading organisation and is based in Dorset and commutable from Weymouth, Dorchester, Grimstone, Evershot, Beamister, Bridport, Abbotsbury, Wareham and West Lulworth and more.

The Mechanical Design Engineer job based in Dorset will be responsible for: -

> Design of mechanical and electro-mechanical enclosures for the company\'s special purpose machinery.
> Create innovative 3D designs for plastic injection mouldings but also for small fabrications and mechanisms that meet the specification, time and cost targets.
> Produce data, drawings and BOM to support the production and manufacturing.
> Provide technical support for the special purpose machinery, this could include troubleshooting and efficiency improvements.

The successful candidate for this Mechanical Design Engineer job will ideally have experience of:

> Proficient in 3D modelling
> Experience of designing plastic injection mouldings
> Experience of designing mechanisms and motors
