ATA are currently working in partnership with an industry leading business who deliver high value and complex turnkey engineering projects worth up to \xc2\xa310million in value. The business focus on the delivery of turnkey engineering projects for the food and beverage, distillery, chemical, pharmaceutical and health care industries delivering bespoke projects from concept design through to installation and commissioning at site. As part of their growth, they are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer who will be responsible for detailed 3D modelling on multi-million-pound turnkey engineering projects. The Role:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of a vibrant team producing the best solutions for the projects using Autodesk Inventor CAD packages.

Some of the duties that the Mechanical Design Engineer will have to carry out are:

• Develop process and instrumentation diagrams, showing in detail plant, pumps, heat exchanger, valves, instruments, and pipework.
• Prepare pipework isometric drawings.
• Provide design support to sales & proposals.
• 3D modelling of a plant layout using AutoCAD Plant package.
• Design for manufacture for bespoke items and component modelling.
• Attend design reviews internally and externally with customers.

The candidate:

The ideal Mechanical design engineer will have a passion for design and great attention to detail, the ability to work well in a team and as an individual.

To be successful in your application for the Mechanical Design Engineer role you will need:

• 3D modelling experience.
• A mechanical engineering qualification.
• Result driven, confident, and dynamic personality.
• To be flexible, team player and supportive.
