As Mechanical Assembler, you will produce components to required standard and on time to meet customer expectations.
Mechanical Assembler Key Responsibilities
To produce components in line with delivery requirements against agreed schedules
Ensure that all relevant quality criteria are met
Ensure adherence to working practices, procedures, policies, H&S
Operate wide variety of power tools and hand tools.
Use calibrated measuring devised fixtures and meters.
Maintain accurate documentation related to quality & work in progress
Repairs / re-work of nonconforming products
Maintain a clean work area always ensuring audit ready
Any other as required
Mechanical Assembler Qualifications & Experience:
Experience of using hand tools
Must have a high level of manual dexterity to work with small components
Ability to read and follow engineering/assembly drawings
Ability to work with ITAR/EAR restricted parts
Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components (desirable)
Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) process (desirable)
Must be health & safety conscious
Mechanical Assembler Skills & Behaviours:

Act in an appropriate manner when dealing directly or indirectly with customers
