Job Description

Do you have previous experience working on HGV vehicle and trailers? Able to hit the ground running? Team player? Flexible & adaptable way of working? We are currently searching for a mechanic to join our business in Shetland\xe2\x80\xa6

Working days on a Monday-Friday, 0800-1630 shift pattern, you will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and aiming to maximise reliability and functionality of the HGV and MHE fleet. Maintaining the safety of all employees, sub-contractors, and visitors will be of paramount importance, promoting a \'Safety Starts with Me\' culture, whilst operating within DFDS Safe Working Practices & Procedures.

Clear & confident communication is necessary to guarantee excellent interaction with both our internal & external customers in a timely efficient manner. There is naturally a significant element of daily administration, ensuring all work is processed on the relevant systems. There is plenty of variation within the role.
