Job Title: Experienced 3.5T Van Mechanic and Diesel Fitter (Including Collections)

Location: Crosskeys

Salary: \xc2\xa314 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified 3.5T Van Mechanic and Diesel Fitter to join our team in Crosskeys. As a valued member of our organisation, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing 3.5-tonne vans, as well as handling collections.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on 3.5-tonne vans to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
• Expertly diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, providing effective solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive services such as engine tune-ups, brake repairs, and oil changes.
• Utilise specialised tools and equipment for advanced diagnostic testing and accurate problem identification.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, including maintaining a clean and organised work area.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a qualified mechanic and diesel fitter, specifically with 3.5-tonne vans.
• Exceptional expertise in diesel engines, electrical systems, and advanced vehicle diagnostics.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• Good physical stamina for handling collections.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Working Hours: 0600 starts (exact schedule to be discussed during the interview process)

• 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
