Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate the ability to diagnose and repair various types of vehicles. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our service, contributing to the overall productivity of our work

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake checks, and tyre rotations. Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred (But not essentia) Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A valid driver's licence is advantageous. ( but not necessarily) Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are a plus.
