We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate the ability to diagnose and repair various types of machinery and vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues and malfunctions.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous.
A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
