Maintain, install, support, upgrade and remove Navy Command provided and supported IT and CIS systems, as required, used and deployed in RN/RM ships, submarines, units and establishments ensuring security of data and access to assets is maintained.
Provide technical advice to MCSU/Navy Command on IT Security incidents.
Provide technical advice to MCSU/Navy Command pertaining to and to coordinate equipment compliance issues relating to security and installation of IT and CIS system.
Develop CIS and ISR technical solutions to meet Navy Command endorsed requirements.
Provide advice on engineering standards appropriate to CIS systems and installation.
Act as Mobile IT and CIS system technical support specialist to provide cover within UK, and overseas, as required.
Provide IT and CIS through life support, remote and onsite, by administering systems or (by agreement) the training of local SysAdmin staff.
Manage and conduct IT and CIS system upgrades and Tech Refresh Programmes.
Provide out of hours call-out service as required.
Responsible for the safe handling and accounting of classified material.

Developed vetting (essential)
Maritime experience (essential)
Network engineer with experience working on above secret systems and hardware
Understanding of networks/bearers in maritime environment
On ship experience - would suit WE/CIS background
Experience of managing installations and complying with MOD standards
Ability to work autonomously with little direct supervision
