Join Mathnasium as a Maths Instructor (Wokingham Centre ONLY)

Mathnasium is a global company with over 1000 maths-only learning centres worldwide, which offers both maths help and enrichment to students through our unique combination of mental, oral, visual, tactile and written techniques. We teach maths to children for understanding, in a way that makes sense to them! Most importantly we make maths fun and grow children's confidence.

Want to make a difference in a child's life by passing on a love for maths? We are currently seeking Maths Instructors to work with students to achieve mastery of maths.

Responsibilities:

Administer Mathnasium curriculum. Deliver Mathnasium methodology with confidence and energy. Ensure continued student motivation, progression and mastery. Execute superior customer service. Professionally interact with students and parents. Communicate student progress to line manager.

Person Specification

Essential

:

Exceptional maths skills (minimum Maths A/A or grade 7-9 at GCSE and/or Maths A at A-Level).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional customer service focus. Energy and passion for working with students. Ability to professionally interact with students and parents. Energetic, fun and confident personality. Eligible to work in the UK.

Preferred

:

Previous educational or tutoring experience. Strong A-Level Maths or Higher Education qualification.

Availability:

Opening hours: Mon-Thu 3.00 pm to 7.30 pm, Sat 10 am to 2 pm. Flexitime hours are available, too. Within reason.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Salary: From 8.00 per hour depending on age and experience
