Secondary Maths Teacher in Heathfield

Contract Type: Full time, Long term contract

Paid to Scale \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa3130 \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa3200 per day

Supply Desk are currently recruiting on the behalf of a Secondary School in Heathfield who are looking to recruit a Maths Teacher for a long\xe2\x80\x94term contract from Dec \xe2\x80\x93 July 2024. This will be a temporary position with the potential to move into a permeant position. You will be teaching Maths across KS3 in a secondary school.

The role:

• Full Time \xe2\x80\x93 Monday to Friday
• You will be required to teach Maths to KS3 and 4 students.
• Planning and preparing for lessons which cater to all students
• Marking and assessment to recap or extend the students learning as appropriate
• Following and promoting the school curriculum and pushing for highest attainment
• Pay rates in line with teacher pay scale

Requirements for the role:

• Must have experience teaching Maths up to and including GCSE\xe2\x80\x99s.
• Willingness to take on some intervention groups and booster sessions
• You will have excellent subject knowledge and a desire to provide the best education to all students
• Will be required to apply for an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS, if you do not already have one on the update service.
