Job Description

Justteachers are seeking a Maths and English Teacher to join one of our partner SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) Schools, you will be responsible for educating students in various concepts and skills.

You will create engaging lesson plans, provide individualised instruction, and assess student progress. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of SEMH, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

You Will:

plan and teach lessons, work with small groups and individual students prepare teaching materials, take registers and write reports help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress work with specialist teaching services, medical staff, counsellors and psychologists organise trips, attend workshops and run training for other teaching staff on special educational needs issues
Your Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate Maths and English concepts to students of varying abilities Experience in tutoring or mentoring students Proficient in behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom environment Knowledge of special education strategies for supporting students with diverse learning needs
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field QTS Previous experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level is preferred but not required

Pay: 130.00-200.00 per day
