Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join a highly respected secondary school in the Halifax area. This role is vital in fostering a love for mathematics among students while ensuring they achieve their academic goals. The position will involve teaching across KS4 and KS5.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons tailored to different learning styles, across KS4 and KS5 Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Prepare students for GCSE and A-level exams, ensuring comprehensive understanding and mastery of the curriculum Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Strong knowledge of mathematics curriculum and pedagogy. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students and staff. Experience in behaviour management within an educational setting. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
