The Role This role has the responsibility to consistently ensure the needs of the customers are being exceeded. The aim is to ensure that excellent customer service is delivered as standard and that there is a continuous program for improvement. You will seek to continually enhance the business reputation and brand whilst working to our values. Main Duties and Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Finance Director, lead and motivate Customer service team to deliver excellent service to internal and external customers.   • Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction by maintaining and enhancing strong working relationships internally with sales, production, warehouse and finance
  • Set up and\xe2\x80\xaflead\xe2\x80\xafthe development of all our customer processes, then implement and continuously improve them.
  • Guide and lead team members to deliver customer excellence that exceeds the customer requirements.
  • Ensure ownership and maintenance of key customer service processes
  • Own and maintain key business documents eg sales order book. Ensure it is aligned with key relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Use data to create planning and monitoring KPI\xe2\x80\x99s.
Attributes:
  • Work with external customers and sales managers to understand and investigate feedback into the service or product provided.
  • Simplify requirements, so they are easily understood across the whole team/business.
  • Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organisation as a whole.
Coaching and development of the Customer service team to ensure cover in all key tasks of the dept. Experience
  • Previous customer services experience preferred but not essential.
  • 5+ years experience of team management in a dynamic environment
  • Track record of successfully setting up customer service processes and ensuring relevant training needs are being met.
  • Experience of nurturing, managing and maintaining key working relationships internally and externally
  • Very strong written and spoken communication skills are crucial
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
