Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Markleting/PR Executive to join my clients team and contribute to the development and execution of their public relations strategies. The Marketing/PR Executive will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a positive public image for the company. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage various initiatives that align with their business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective Marketing/PR strategies to enhance the company\'s clients brand visibility and reputation.
Create and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers to secure media coverage and placements.
Draft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials that effectively convey key messages to target audiences.
Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive media outreach and engagement.
Coordinate and manage media inquiries, interview requests, and media events.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, social media, and content creation to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
Assist in crisis communication by providing timely and accurate information to address any potential PR issues or challenges.
Plan and execute PR events, press conferences, and product launches to generate maximum media exposure.
Measure and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns, tracking key performance metrics and adjusting strategies as needed.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in PR and communication.
Qualifications:
Ideally a degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field - but not essential.
Proven experience working in public relations, marketing, corporate communications, or a related role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts and stakeholders.
Proficiency in using PR/Marketing tools and software for media monitoring, tracking, and reporting.
Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative PR ideas and strategies.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Familiarity with digital media trends and social media platforms.
Experience in crisis communication and issues management is a plus.
A portfolio of successful PR/Marketing campaigns or projects is preferred.
