Marketing Planning Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Travel Location: Middlesex \xe2\x80\x93 Hybrid, typically twice a week in office Salary: \xc2\xa350,000 to \xc2\xa355,000 base plus an incredible benefits plan which includes discounted holidays, 15% bonus and tons more. A well delivered piece of marketing comes off the back of a well-designed, considered and thought through marketing plan. That\xe2\x80\x99s the bit you\xe2\x80\x99re going to be responsible for with this global travel brand. It\xe2\x80\x99s a big remit, not so much in terms of remit, but the exposure the work is going to be getting. As the strategies and plans you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working on will cover the company\xe2\x80\x99s global marketing efforts and will include the co-partner marketing efforts they do with other travel brands too. Marketing planning itself tends to bias towards annual plans. Looking at the year ahead and what the business is looking to achieve in terms of customer, brand and commercial goals. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working as part of a team, with both a head of function and a manager to help support you with execution of these projects. Pulling together elements which support the overall strategy and planning process. An example of such may be carrying out customer segmentation study. Or specific consumer, competitor or market trend analysis to inform decision making around tweaks or changes to marketing plans, whilst also looking at the impact it might have on commercial returns. At its broadest level, you may also be involved in 3 year horizon scanning strategy work. At the shortest, it will be quarterly plans and dealing with tactical strategies. Working with marketing teams and dealing with tweaks and changes to strategies to optimise revenue opportunities. Understanding how the impacts of any change suggestions may impact on the bottom line results further down the line and help the business achieve its annual objectives. Experience Needed

Solid academic pedigree with a good numerical aptitude. There\xe2\x80\x99s going to be a lot of data to consume and make sense of as part of the day-to-day
Have experience working in a large, complex organisation \xe2\x80\x93 like a big retailer, telco, bank, utility, travel company. Something with lots of levers, drivers and moving parts and people.

Great collaboration skills and high degree of emotional intelligence
Tenacious, but also really patient with people and know how to get people onside
