Brand Awareness:
Increase awareness and consideration of our brand, products, and services among new and existing customers, including operator customers and consumers (B2B, B2B2C, and B2C).
Targeted Marketing:
Plan and deliver targeted marketing campaigns through appropriate channels to attract new customers, drive revenue, encourage repeat business, and build product engagement with operator customers and consumers.
Marketing Support:
Manage all marketing support for our bookmaker customers globally to help promote our products to their customers (bettors).
Consumer Engagement
: Plan and execute consumer-facing marketing channels to engage our customers' customers with our key products (Racing, Competitive Gaming, and Live Numbers Draws).
CRM Leadership:
Lead and promote the use of the CRM platform, ensuring seamless customer journey mapping and maximising the effectiveness of SIS websites.
The main responsibilities of the Marketing Manager are set out below:
Marketing communications
Develop and execute marketing campaigns for individual products to support new and existing offerings, driving awareness (B2B, B2B2C, and B2C) and generating leads for the Sales team.
Collaborate with the team to utilise all relevant communication channels to support marketing campaigns.
Customer marketing support
Work closely with Sales team to understand customer requirements to help engage their customers with our products, which will differ by territory.
Where possible, work closely with operator marketing teams to determine the necessary level of support.
Plan and develop appropriate digital marketing assets for retail and online.
Plan, generate and maintain content bank of product promotional assets
Identify additional opportunities to help educate and promote our products with our customers.
Consumer engagement
Shape the B2C marketing plans for Competitive Gaming and Racing working closely with the CG Product and the Greyhound Operations team
Manage the development of relevant website content, working closely with both the CG and Racing operations teams to help drive awareness of our products and help communicate key information around key events, previous form etc, to equip bettors with the knowledge required to make informed bets on our product.
Work closely with the Digital Commercial Manager to determine how to optimise click-throughs to bookmaker affiliate partners' websites.
CRM and website management
Lead CRM utilisation, collaborating with the Head of Sales to assess and address ongoing Sales team training needs, and manage comprehensive training support.
Monitor and optimise Sales team use of the CRM system, delivering insightful reports to the Head of Marketing.
Leverage the CRM system to segment the database and craft targeted communications, ensuring meticulous tracking at each stage of the customer journey.
Continuously review and enhance website content to support seamless customer journeys and drive lead generation.
Produce detailed monthly reports for the Head of Marketing, offering strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
Budget management
Ensure ongoing tracking of POs and budget for respective areas
Feed into the 'bottom up' annual budget development for respective areas
Skills and Experience
Experience & educational requirements:
Degree level preferred
3 to 5 years+ experience in marketing comms development and execution (ideally a mixture of B2B and B2C experience preferred, but open to just B2C).
Strong commercial awareness
Exposure to working in fast changing markets
Marketing competencies:
Track record in developing & executing marketing and communications plans - proven understanding of marketing mix
Skilled in judging creative - cut-through comms in line with brand and tone of voice
Working with marketing agencies
Experience in managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud, website and social media content development and reporting
Marketing budget management
Personal competencies:
Well-developed influencing skills
IT literate
Commercially numerate and astute
Excellent presentation skills - written & verbal
Think outside the box for new ideas and solutions
