Job summary
The Marketing Manager, Assessment provides support to achieve revenue growth targets for our Awarding Organisation brands.
Working closely with colleagues in both Bristol and Sheffield, this varied role requires the creation and implementation of marketing strategies to support the launch and continued growth of our Regulated Qualifications, Custom Certification and Apprenticeship End-Point Assessment products. The Marketing Manager, Assessment will need to do this in line with organisational business objectives at a brand and Group level.
What is the impact of the role on the business?
The Marketing Manager, Assessment will be responsible for supporting our Awards brands, SFJ Awards and iCQ Awards. The role will be responsible for developing strategic marketing plans to drive growth across our apprenticeship and EPA products, growing our market share and increasing revenue.
The role holder, working alongside Digital Marketers, will create campaigns to drive awareness and uptake. There is also a need to support in attracting new centres for our qualifications, promoting new products and upselling to existing clients. This role is integral to supporting our growth strategy and will be pivotal in delivering targets.

What does the daily work look like?
Based in Bristol, you will be part of a cross-business central marketing function, collaborating closely with various business teams.

: managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts

: contributing to the development of creative marketing materials and strategies
Performance tracking
: monitoring and evaluating the performance of marketing initiatives to optimise future campaigns

My team is unique in that we serve all five brands of the organisation to achieve their business goals. This gives us excellent insight into the organisation as a whole, with some colleagues dedicated to one or two brands, and others supporting all five. This is a huge strength as it means we are able to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, whilst constantly challenging how we do things to ensure we are staying abreast of the latest developments and trends

Our team run two annual awards which we all pitch in on. This gives us a great sense of team spirit which extends to our daily working lives. The culture is open and collaborative. We welcome ideas from all team members, regardless of their experience or position within the team. I feel my team are open to collaboration, and being a relatively small team, we do well at challenging our own thinking and refining our approach to gain the best results.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the achievement of revenue growth targets through designing, developing, and executing marketing strategies consistent with AO brand and the wider Workforce Development Trust Group objectives.
Work closely with colleagues in Business Development and Product Development to create and execute marketing strategies aligned to organisational objectives, promoting products and services in new and existing markets.
Translate our offer into compelling narratives that resonate with our audience.
Regular travel to the SFJ Awards brand's Sheffield office.
Experience:
Experience of marketing for Awarding Organisations, training providers or the education sector.
