What\'s the opportunity?
We\'re seeking a highly creative and results-driven Marketing Lead to spearhead our Founder & start-up community. In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll drive marketing initiatives that help us build meaningful relationships with Founders and leaders, positioning Burns Sheehan as a central figure in the UK tech start-up community. As the driving force behind our Start-Up Diaries podcast, you\'ll work closely with our podcast host and Managing Director to take ownership of the entire production process, ensuring its continued success.
Collaborating closely with our sales team, you\'ll empower and coach them to leverage our marketing initiatives for business development and relationship-building. Your data-driven approach will provide invaluable insights that drive our sales efforts. This is a role where no day will be the same, and you\'ll have the autonomy to produce creative content, manage projects and partnerships, and organise industry events, with the support of an ambitious and collaborative marketing team.

\xc2\xb7 1-3 years of experience in a commercial marketing or brand development role.
\xc2\xb7 Confident using design tools such as Canva.
\xc2\xb7 Proven success in lead generation.
\xc2\xb7 Passion for the tech start-up scene and staying up-to-date with trends.
\xc2\xb7 Experience working on podcasts and strategies for increasing listeners would be a plus.
Core responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Podcast Management: From sourcing guests to producing content, you\'ll manage all aspects of The Start-Up Diaries podcast and work with the sales team to drive its commercial success.
\xc2\xb7 Events Management: Conceptualise and manage industry events, including roundtables, webinars and community meetups.
\xc2\xb7 Content Marketing: Collaborate with the sales team to produce marketing campaigns and collateral that align with Burns Sheehan\xe2\x80\x99s business objectives.
\xc2\xb7 Community Building: Making connections and managing partnerships with investor networks and accelerator programmes that are deeply connected to the start-up ecosystem and expanding our reach in this area.
