Job Description

We are seeking a

passionate and enthusiastic food, drink and farming Marketing and Events Manager

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage our

restaurant and farming events, community standing, and our entire social media presence

. Working closely with the Operations Manager, General Manager, and Head Chef, you will be the primary point of contact for all of our events, both at the restaurant, and further afield as part of our new village farm to fork offering.

This is a truly exciting opportunity to not only join a well established outfit, but also to be an integral part of the birth and development of our new 'Drinkhouse Farm' brand. We are a local bistro

(Good Food Guide 2024 + 2025)

which also owns farmland in the village. We now have a full-time farmer and are building a set up where we can be as sustainable as possible and champion the 'Farm to Fork' model. Therefore this role will be ideally suited to a candidate who is

forward thinking, on the pulse with hospitality trends, and willing to think outside the box

in order to achieve our ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advanced social media experience and knowledge

- Exceptional content creation

- Marketing campaigns: Design and promote all that we have to offer and convert, and upsell catering, events and the restaurant

- Client engagement: Respond to all incoming emails, calls and social messages

- Visits : Conduct client meetings, visit venues, visit suppliers, attend events to promote the business

- Brand development - work alongside Operations Manager to develop our new offerings, pricings and packages

- Market Awareness: Develop awareness for Out Lane Social and Drinkhouse Farm in the marketplace, and in the local village community, creatively coordinating events to facilitate seamless guest experiences

- Promotional Activities: Assist in creating POS materials for future events

- Sales Activities: Collaborate with Senior Management to identify and drive sales activities

- Event Coordination: Liaise with clients, vendors and suppliers to ensure all event requirements are met seamlessly and that we always exceed client expectations

- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in all social media platforms, Canva, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
