Are you a dynamic senior marketing and communications leader, with a passion for shaping business strategy, social value, people engagement and enhancing reputation?

We are seeking someone to join to SSCL Executive Team as the Director or Marketing and Communications. You will lead the team with a clear vision to build the reputation of the business, increase awareness of the SSCL brand, design of marketing and communications campaigns that support the current and long-term strategic objectives of SSCL. You will be responsible for SSCL\'s media response and crisis management strategy in support of clients and the wider Sopra Steria group.

You will also be responsible for the development and delivery of our Social Value and People Engagement strategies. This is an opportunity to support with driving growth, showcase innovation and make a lasting impact.

This role is hybrid working, with some travel to our Hub locations including Newport, Blackpool, Newcastle, York, Glasgow, Gosport and London.

What you\'ll be doing:

• Partnering with the CEO and Executive team to develop strategy, objectives and targets for current and longer-term strategic plans.
• Leading teams with responsibility for creating marketing campaigns, developing collateral and digital channels such as the SSCL website.
• Developing and delivering SSCL\'s Social Value strategy across the business and in partnership with clients. Building community programmes and partnerships that supports the SSCL business and the social value priorities of our clients.
• Developing marketing and communications plans that outline how SSCL articulates its key messages to different audiences using multiple channels such as social media, print media, and email campaigns.
• Delivering people engagement activities and events across SSCL (including involvement in the D&I networks) to make sure colleagues feel connected to the SSCL vision and feel proud of their contribution to SSCL\'s success.
• Developing and crafting messaging for the CEO and supporting other senior level messaging to ensure positive impact and consistency.
• Working with the business to develop strategies to attract new business from prospective clients and promote new services for existing clients.

What you\'ll bring:

• Track record of operating at a strategic level, engaging with senior stakeholders across the public sector.
• People engagement skills with the energy and passion to be an inspirational leader.
• An advocate for change and innovation, particularly in relation to Social Value and Diversity and Inclusion.
• Demonstrable expertise across all the Marketing & Communications subject areas including account-based marketing, digital, external communications, PR and crisis management.
