We are delighted to be partnering with When You Wish Upon a Star to recruit them a Marketing, Communications and PR Lead. When You Wish Upon a Star has a simple mission, to grant the Wishes of children living in the UK with life threatening illnesses between the ages of 4 to 16 years. Since 1990 the charity have granted 18500 wishes throughout the UK.

About the role

You will be working with the Senior Management team in planning and delivering marketing and communications activities to key audiences. The duties of the role include writing, editing, co-ordinating and publishing content across various channels, including the charity\'s website, social media, email, and print and online marketing materials.

You will be responsible for devising an effective communication and marketing plan as well as be responsible for raising the profile of the Charity. You will support the fundraising manager to deliver fundraising appeals and be skilled in writing excellent copy.

About You

You must have had experience in developing and delivering a social media strategy as well as running brand campaigns. Experience of working with a CRM System is also desirable as is experience in managing web platforms, content, SEO, analytics, and optimising performance.
