Based in either London or Bristol, a leading international law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to work strategically and tactically to plan, deliver and lead incisive and value-added business development support to the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure practice. This is a great opportunity for a client-focused, self-starter to be part of the firm\'s Corporate & Commercial team with a focus on the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure practice. It will be the perfect role for a skilled and experienced marketing and BD specialist who wants to be both immersed in the ENRI practice and active as a valued part of a strong and genuinely international firm. The Marketing & Business Development Manager will work closely with fee earners across the practice and with other members of the Marketing & BD team to advise on and drive the execution of marketing and business development initiatives across the ENRI International Practice Group. Operating as an integral part of the Marketing & BD team, you will have a strong voice in the future planning of the practice group. This role will demand both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, with the ability to juggle both being key. The role holder will contribute to the BD practice planning and budgeting process and then work with the relevant fee earners and the Corporate & Commercial Senior BD Manager to implement the plan. You will play a proactive role in developing and supporting business development initiatives and assist fee earners with practice specific tenders, proposals and pitches, including conducting a bid / no bid process, managing the logistics of the pitch process, gathering relevant material and information and writing formal responses. You will also play an active role in client relationship management, potentially managing and developing a client programme client, and helping the client team to be outward-facing and focused on revenue generation opportunities. From a communications perspective, the successful applicant will contribute to the formulation of internal and external communications strategies and will subsequently implement accordingly, ensuring best practice is observed. You will develop and manage the content of written communications including factsheets, web pages and intranet pages and must help to strengthen the firm\'s reputation in relevant product areas through the identification of speaking, advertising and media opportunities and oversee the project management of both directory and award submissions. The ideal candidate will possess a well-developed understanding of marketing and business development strategy and implementation and have extensive marketing and business development experience, ideally gained in a professional services firm. The Marketing & Business Development Manager must have a proven track-record in the end to end management of the pitch process and familiarity with CRM systems, document management systems, intranets and websites. Knowledge of the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure sectors and sub-sectors, including energy transition, is essential, whilst past experience in social media and PR will be an advantage.
