The Nare is located in a quiet and secluded bay on the south coast of Cornwall. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to work with our senior team and our external marketing consultants. This is an exciting role within an established and well respected member of the luxury hotel market. Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role will provide vital marketing assistance to the General Manager, senior management team and sales and reservations team. You will benefit from the valuable support of an external expert marketing team who will build the marketing plan, as well as providing guidance and expertise when needed. This collaborative approach allows you to focus on core marketing tasks, whilst ensuring best practice and real time response to the marketing needs of the hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their marketing career in the luxury hospitality sector and to progress within the company.

This is a full-time, site based role.

Reporting structure:



This role reports to the Managing Director and will work in conjunction with our external marketing consultants.

Responsibilities:



To work with the General Manager, Office Manager (Sales) and MD (Director of Marketing) within the organisation, as well as our external marketing consultants, as a marketing group for the hotel, whose chief responsibility will be the development and delivery of the annual marketing plan, as well as managing real time amendments and opportunities as they come to light.

To execute The Nare Hotel marketing plan whilst maintaining the Nare "brand and feel" throughout. The Nare brand profile is paramount to its success and unique offering to customers and is a fundamental core running through the marketing plan and day to day operations in the hotel. The brand is led by the board of directors and senior management team and its understanding, support and implementation is vital to any marketing plan. Consequently, one of your roles will be to act as a brand custodian for The Nare Hotel.

To work with the hotel's accounts team to manage the marketing budget including procurement and approval of marketing invoices.

To work with our external marketing consultants to prepare, present and execute in a timely and professional manner the marketing plan each year, including:

the marketing budget;

the marketing activity plan forming the objectives for the year;

the marketing strategy for the coming year;

monthly marketing reports;

To work with our external marketing consultants to manage and maintain in a timely and professional manner:

The Nare's social media presence

the business database including all data protection issues as well as compiling all guest feedback for senior management and the sales team.

all published printed and digital material for brand continuity, accuracy and presentation, including all brochures, tariffs, cards, invitations, logos and menus.

all content aspects of The Nare website and functionality, including working closely with the sales team and IT department/web designers to ensure content is kept up to date.

marketing contacts with our various external marketing agents (paid and unpaid) including travel agents and journalists.

To prepare and manage with the sales team, the hotel's marketing key performance indicators.

Person Specification:



Passionate about hospitality, branding, and storytelling

Digitally savvy with an interest in social media and digital marketing

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks

Proactive, creative, and eager to bring fresh ideas to the table

Qualifications, Experience & Skills



At least two years' experience of marketing

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required

Good knowledge of SEO best practice
