As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be a strategic partner to the Leadership team, managing a small team and adding value to the Port by providing expert, proactive input and support on key messaging, building shared narratives and engagement with our multiple stakeholders and audiences.

Key responsibiliities:
Lead in the design, build and execution of a multi-channel marketing plan, to include digital marketing campaigns, content creation, social media, presentations, press releases and delivering appropriate responses to external events.
Develop and manage B2B marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive growth in both consumer-facing and partner-focused channels.
Collaborate with internal teams to create and optimise engaging marketing content, ensuring consistency across platforms.
Execute hands-on campaigns, including creative development, managing partnerships, and tracking performance. The focus is on rolling up sleeves and being directly involved in the day-to-day operations.
Foster and grow an online presence, particularly focusing on social media and digital channels that resonate with a diverse audience, to establish a brand that people connect with and supports our values, sustainability credentials and community presence.
Experience/ Skills required:
Relevant Marketing qualification (e.g. CIM or similar)
Recent marketing experience, ideally within a complex business model (property, transport or shipping industry experience would be particularly relevant).
Strong digital skills, with an in-depth understanding of social media, content marketing, SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
Creative and proactive, a great people manager with a hands-on attitude, this is a role for someone who loves getting stuck in and driving projects from concept to execution.
You will be an innovator and a self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you will need to move quickly, be adaptable, and tackle new challenges head-on.
