Job Overview:

We are seeking an ambitious Marketing Administrator who is looking to start their journey within marketing. This role is crucial in supporting the execution of all creative and commercial marketing campaigns, managing online content, and assisting in the administrative tasks with the department. This role will also work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support creative event planning, and support the operational delivery of marketing initiatives and supporting the wider operational teams at busy periods.


Key Responsibilities:



Website Management:

Assist in updating and maintaining the hotel's website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and optimised for user experience.

Content Creation:

Support the creation of engaging content for digital platforms, including blog posts, email development and delivery. Help ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all channels.

E-commerce Support:

Help manage product listings, promotions, and stock across all e-commerce platforms. Assist with online booking processes and ensure all listings and retail channels are optimised for maximum visibility and sales.

Digital Marketing Support:

Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing. Monitor and report on campaign performance.

Analytics & Reporting:

Support on the reporting of website traffic, paid advertising, and other key metrics performance. Assist in generating reports that provide insights into the effectiveness of marketing activities.

Customer Engagement:

Help manage customer enquiries and feedback on digital platforms, ensuring timely and professional responses.

CRM and Data Growth:

Work with the Ecommerce Manager to assist with CRM activities to nurture customer relationships and drive loyalty. Support in the implementation and education of the onsite teams in data collection

Technology and Automation:

Support on new systems projects through technology and improved process to increase direct booking conversion and sales.

General Administrative Support:

Provide administrative support to Marketing team to ensure campaign briefs are well presented and delivered on time.

Competitor and Brand Research:

Conduct research to gather insights on competitors and market trends, providing actionable recommendations to keep our brand competitive.

Asset Management:

Manage and distribute marketing assets across various channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with our branding guidelines. Support marketing campaigns by coordinating and providing necessary materials.

Marketing and Event Calendar Management:

Maintain the marketing, sales and events calendar, ensuring all activities are scheduled, coordinated, and executed seamlessly.

Third-Party Listing Management:

Manage content on third-party listings, ensuring our brand is well-represented and up-to-date on all external platforms.

Event & Operational Support:

The ability to support in the delivery of creative events on-site and support the operational teams during busy times (some weekend work will be required)
This role could be full or part time but will require and could include weekends.

Qualifications:

Some experience in a marketing or sales support role, preferably within the hospitality industry. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CMS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite preferable. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
