TRM International is excited to be hiring for a leading FinTech organisation specialising in Financial Market Data. Our search is for a Market Data Engineer to work within a successful Market Data Support team. This is an excellent opportunity for long-term career progression within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Strong Excel skills (including formulas and pivot tables).

Good understanding of FIX, UPA/ETA protocols.

Ed Ed Excellent organisational skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Ability to think \xe2\x80\x9coutside the box\xe2\x80\x9d.

You should demonstrate experience in one or more of the following areas:

Market Data infrastructures delivering Real-Time Market Data to customers and vendors such as (but not limited to) Refinitiv TREP and Bloomberg BPIPE.

Real-Time and Snapshot Market Data Publishing and Contributions technologies such as (but not limited to) Refinitiv CONTEX, Refinitiv RCC and Bloomberg MPF service.

Hands-on, advanced management of distribution technologies leveraging various file transfer services i.e. SFTP, HTTPS, AWS.

Utilising programming languages such as PowerShell and Python and the management of a market data tick capture service (like but not limited to) Onetick, Velocity, KxDb etc.

Real-time data capture and data quality assurance, utilising tick capture technologies, data warehousing and data monitoring/analytics skills/toolsets, such as (but not limited to) ITRS Genios, AWS, Google.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing and implementing market data systems to support the firm\'s trading and investment operations.

Work closely with traders, quant researchers, and technology teams to ensure that market data is accurate, reliable, and accessible in real time.

Implement data quality checks and validation processes.

Work with large data sets to extract meaningful insights.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies.
