To support this, we are recruiting Manufacturing Technicians to come and join us.Apply today to work as a Manufacturing Technician in Bradford.The rate of pay is xc2xa330,732.42 per annum.This is a full-time role working 4 shifts per week, rotating 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights. The hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm
- 6pm to 6amYour Time at WorkAs a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for:- Efficient operation of bakery plant equipment throughout, ensuring it operates within high-performing parameters.
- Health, safety, environment, quality, food safety, service, cost, and the efficiency of the line. This is achieved through your ability to identify issues early, communicate well with team members, and resolve day-to-day issues.The job roles are not area-specific and will be rotated throughout the plant.Our Perfect WorkerOur perfect worker will have the following skills:- Demonstrate basic engineering competencies
- Basic understanding of continuous improvement tools/techniques
- Be computer literate
- It is imperative that all candidates are competent in completing paperwork and recording numerical and written information accurately
- Demonstrate basic engineering competencies/mechanical empathy
- Basic understanding of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques (EG: Fishbone, 5 Why's, 5s etc)
- Computer Literate (understand and interact with HMI screens )
- Demonstrate a good level of Health and Food Safety Awareness
- Numerical, reading, and information recording skills.
- Fault-finding skillsSafety is of utmost importance, therefore, all candidates should demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Safety as well as Food Safety.Advantageous:- An in-depth understanding and application of food hygiene/GMP/(ABSS standards)
- Understanding of the baking process
- NVQ Level 1 or Level 2 in Performing Mechanical Engineering
