Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Peacock Technology Ltd. This role is pivotal in overseeing manufacturing operations and ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will play a key role in driving efficiency and quality within our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Lead the manufacturing team, providing direction, training, and support to ensure efficiency and quality. Organise and allocate tasks within the manufacturing team according to business demands. Attend planning meetings to align with production schedules and deadlines. Maintain accurate records of completed orders, including shipping sheets and serial numbers, to ensure traceability. Oversee stock and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Identify and escalate production issues in real-time to management for prompt resolution. Conduct incoming goods acceptance testing to verify the quality and reliability of received components and materials. Supervise and contribute to product assembly, preparation, and packaging for domestic and international shipping. Conduct firmware updates and functional testing on all products. Oversee the assembly and testing of stock items. Support design and verification testing for both new and existing products. Assist in the design and development of test equipment and testing methods.

Requirements

Manual dexterity relating to hand tools, power tools etc, used during the mechanical assembly of hardware. Familiarity of electronic components and wiring principles. Computer literate with a general understanding of networking. Quality conscious with a high attention to detail. Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work to deadlines.
