Job Description

Polyplas Extrusions limited are currently looking for an experienced machine operator who is either familiar with working on plastic extrusion machines, or has a mechanical aptitude and happy to learn new skills. The role will be working as part of our experienced team and would suit a pro-active individual looking to work in a Company committed to high standards.

The role will report to the shift cell leader and once fully trained will be required to set and operate plastic extrusion machines on a 12-hour/ 2 shift system.

The key responsibilities for the role are as follows: -

H&S for yourself as well as others around you. Ensuring that the quality of the product being used is in line with customer expectations. Ensuring that the product matches the retained sample. Ensuring that the line is running in line with the standard times that have been set for the job. Ensuring that all paperwork is filled in accurately and correctly. Ensuring housekeeping standards online are set up and maintained during production. Required to adhere to and support all companies policies and procedures. Technical training will be provided for the right candidate.
Previous experience of working in a fast paced plastic extrusion manufacturing environment would be advantageous but not essential.

Pay: From 13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
