Manufacturing Planner FMCG

Stoneglow are a leading UK Candle and Home Fragrance manufacturer based in Romford, Essex. We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our team in Romford. We are looking for a qualified Manufacturing Planner to organize production according to demand and quality standards. You will be the one to ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner.

The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations organising and making sure order promised dates are met.

Responsibilities

Coordinate production workflow for all orders and products, including scheduling customer orders in line with promise dates.

Reviewing stock levels in the warehouse, and purchasing

Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand

Work closely with warehouse/sales that materials are on site to an IT system.

Purchasing support and administration

Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations

Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget

Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption

Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)

Prepare reports on production/packing targets, giving feedback to management/sales on what is achieved

Allocating materials to orders

Liaising with suppliers, the warehouse and logistics team

Keep paperwork organized

Requirements and skills

Proven experience as manufacturing planner ideally in FMCG Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning) Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems Good at math and statistics Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication abilities Working knowledge of Orderwise an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm - office/factory based.

Basic salary - 28000 to35000 depending on experience

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
