Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Operative to join our team during the day shift (7 AM - 4 PM). While operating Multi Head Weigher and pouch packer is a key aspect of the role, duties extend beyond machinery operation. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner with a strong work ethic and willingness to support various manufacturing tasks across the site.

This position requires flexibility in performing a range of duties to ensure smooth production, high-quality standards, and an efficient working environment

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Multi Head Weighers & pouch packing machinery (training available if needed). Slicing material at the required throughput rate. Packing packs into retail format. Perform general site duties, including cleaning, wrapping and moving pallets, and assembling boxes. Label boxes accurately and ensure all required paperwork is completed, including goods-in take sheets and CCP sheets. Ensure raw materials and packaging are available according to the production plan and under guidance from the Site Supervisor or Production Manager. Work within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment, demonstrating adaptability and attention to detail. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with operating machinery or tools is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
