Job role: Manufacturing Manager

Salary: \xc2\xa342,000-\xc2\xa355,000 per annum + Overtime available @ Enhanced Rate

Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire

Hours: Monday-Friday (08.00-16.30) - 38 hours per week

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role:

\xc2\xb7 To support the engineering team through the manufacturing process, fitting and inspection of finished products within the high-end Aerospace industry.

\xc2\xb7 Assist the departments (Machining, Fitting, Inspection) to implement commercial strategies, process improvement and business growth through the use of Sigma 6 Lean manufacturing.

\xc2\xb7 Manage Manufacturing growth (Headcount, Turnover, current capabilities, and market alignment)

\xc2\xb7 Carry out engineer appraisals with clear and concise achievable objectives through the implementation of SMART.

\xc2\xb7 Share knowledge of design, manufacturing and production proceedings.

The Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Previous experience as a manufacturing / project manufacturing manager with a minimum of 3 years experience in the position.

\xc2\xb7 Able to demonstrate and give examples surrounding your leadership capabilities and experience in managing a highly technical team.

\xc2\xb7 Educated to a minimum of degree level

\xc2\xb7 A good understanding and previous experience in the following areas 1) Machining (CNC Milling/Turning) 2) Tools & Techniques within the manufacturing of component using tight tolerances 3) Design of bespoke components. 4) Manufacturing & Production Engineering/Management

\xc2\xb7 Full UK Drivers License
