Are you a Manual Machinist with experience in either milling or turning, looking to train up in toolmaking in a days-based role at a highly profitable and strong company, offering a great work life balance and stable employment?

In this role you will be as part of the wider Tooling team as you design and build parts for tailor-made machinery, all within tight tolerances. Working with jigs and fixtures to repair and maintain existing tools, you will be ensuring that the company\xe2\x80\x99s production lines continue. There will be opportunities to undergo training on Toolmaking to further your career.

This manufacturing company produces components that go into a range of industries, from defence and agriculture to medical and nuclear industries. They are the largest producer of these components in the country and have been operating since the 1950\xe2\x80\x99s. They boast impressive staff retention, whilst continuously growing year on year, currently turning over \xc2\xa326 million a year.

This role would suit a Manual Machinist from either a milling or turning background looking to train up in toolmaking for a long-term and days based role at a company that boasts impressive staff retention and a generous renumeration package.

The Role:

• Designing and making new tools and components
• Repairing & maintaining existing items all within tight tolerances
• Undergo training on toolmaking
• Hourly rate between, \xc2\xa317 \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa319 per hour
• Monday to Thursday, 7.30am \xe2\x80\x93 4pm or 8:30am \xe2\x80\x93 5pm, a 4pm finish on Fridays
